Valentine’s Dinner 2011
In England, Valentine’s Day is reserved for only those in a ‘relationship’, and that’s how we’ve always celebrated it. However, last year it fell on a Sunday so we decided to make our weekly Sunday dinner with the family a little more festive, by making little valentine’s for one another.
It was so lovely that we did it again this year. Mum brought us all the best bars of Lindt chocolate, Emily made doubly delicious chocolate dipped strawberries, I made ‘love songs’ mix cd’s, and the kiddies made us each a card + craft.
But the star of the show was our host Kimberly, she not only made a yummy scrummy dinner but gave us the prettiest gifts, carnations for the ladies, and dipped pretzels + pistachios for the gents.
I do love all holidays, but those with the least expectations seem to take the cake!
