These gorgeous kitchens all have one thing in common:  fabulous toasters!  I have been rather homesick for England, and have therefore decided I need to bring in as much England as possible into my American home.

Dualit Toasters have been catching my eye for some time now and may be just the ticket to helping me beat the homesickness :)  Apparently they must be all the rage, as I am seeing them everywhere.  They cost a pretty penny, but look oh so pretty.

Brad would love that he could just leave the toaster out instead of having to put it away after every use, and hello, they’re from England.  They are eco-friendly, have a life-time warranty and come in so many colors.

I love how I am trying to justify this, hehe.  Does anybody know about these dualit’s?  Are they as fantastic as they seem?  They do have the Good Housekeeping seal of approval :)

    Mum had a friend who ran a really nice gift shop in the center of Manchester (Uk) rather surprisingly these toasters were her best sellers, not what you would expect in a shop selling, teddy bears, cards etc. – people must like them a lot.

    I loved these kitchen designs! I am in the mood to redo my kitchen. As I got to the end of your post, I realized these fabulous kitchens all had the Dualit toaster. Wow! I reviewed the photos again in search for the Dualit. In my “ah ha” moment, I thought “of course good design includes visible appliances! Good design is in all the details.” Thanks for the toaster recommendation and the helpful design tip!

    Hi Emily & Sarah;
    Yeah, apparently these Dualit toasters are starting to catch on in the U.S. They’re pretty cool-looking too. Not only that, they’re very solidly built, and guess what…they make great toast too. Sure these Dualit toasters are a bit pricey, but hey…they’re gonna last you a good long while. I’ll bet you girls would just love to have a Dualit pink toaster in your kitchen. They look so retro-cool..and the design is to die for…really.
