A Cozy Christmas: Garland + Wreath

Earlier this year I fell head-over-heals for THIS wreath I saw in Sweet Paul. The next day I headed out to my local Dollar Tree, bought a vine wreath, and started making pom poms,. Instantly I felt I like a kid again.

Although I made this wreath more than 9 months ago, I’ve been waiting till this season on hang it, and thought I’d make a whole “Cozy Christmas” theme around it to share with you guys.

Here’s the garland and wreath:

I made it a challenge to use what I already had. By choosing a neutral colour scheme I was able to find lots of bits and pieces to make a garland. The wool balls were made by using used paper and rolling it into a ball, and then just wrapping the wool around and around. I did purchase the wooden spools, and vine wreath I mentioned earlier, so out of pocket I only spent about $4…can I hear a Holler?

I hope you all feel inspired that you don’t have to spend a lot decorate for the season. Just get your creative juices following!

Stay tuned for tomorrow, as I’ll be sharing our Cozy Christmas Gift Wrap.
