Look for Less – J.Crew Sequin Skirt

I fell in love when I saw THIS skirt at J.Crew for the holidays. I thought it was super fun and festive (minus the denim shirt and red heels) and just what I need for the Christmas parties and events. Price tag: a whopping $328 for this baby. Ouch!
Browsing through the December issue of O magazine, I found THIS one at Downeast. In the past I haven’t loved their skirts as I feel the quality of the pieces are clearly overpriced, but I decided to go and give this one a try on. This skirt is so great! It is the perfect length for a tall lady like myself, but could be worn higher on the waist if you’re not as tall.
I would highly recommend it in black for all holiday functions, and with a price tag of $44.99 the husband won’t have a heart attack!
