Cupcake Wars Winner: Sweet Tooth Fairy Gluten Free Cupcakes

Way back in 2009 the cutest little bakery opened in Provo, Utah named The Sweet Tooth Fairy. I used to go with my mum, buy a cupcake and just eat the frosting because I couldn’t have the gluten cake.

Since then Sweet Tooth Fairy has spread it’s wings as a Cupcake Wars winner and by adding 8 additional bakeries, one of which being in my neighborhood in Salt Lake City.

A few weeks ago I went to pick up a birthday cupcake for a friend and low and behold a glorious cake stand full of gluten free cupcakes was staring right at me! I am so happy The Sweet Tooth Fairy is extending it’s love to us gluten free peeps!

If you need a seriously delicious treat, this is the place.

Of course my favorite is gluten free PB and chocolate. Sarah’s is salted caramel. Yum, yum! Check out their current menu HERE.

Also, make sure to subscribe to their monthly newsletter to receive a coupon for your birthday.

This drives me crazy! Where are they making their gluten free sweets? The cross contamination of making GF in a regular bakery renders this impossible.

Gluten remains in the air 24 hours AFTER it is used. Many flavorings have gluten in them. The number one culprit of hidden gluten is caramel food coloring.

    This really irks me…

Kathy – I didn’t ask them where they make their gluten free cupcakes, thanks for the info about gluten remaining in the air, I will for sure ask them! Sarah’s favorite salted caramel is a regular gluten ridden cupcake :)
