A Thrifty Anniversary Gift
Brock and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary last week. I can’t believe it’s been that long, and yet I can’t image life without him. :) We’re pretty low key when it comes to celebrating. Dinner and flowers from him, and something sentimental from me.
This year August snuck up on me pretty fast, and before I knew it I had no time to prepare the project I had in mind. Luckily I remembered that I’d brought something back in March, in fact it was Valentine’s clearance.
A gift set of hot sauce, poultry rub and a grill brush originally $12.99, on clearance for $1.29, whoot whoot!!! I simply took it out of it’s Valentine’s packaging, and popped it in a basket. Not a very exciting gift, but he loved it especially when I told him how much it was. :)
Just another reminder what you can create with a good sale and a pinch of creativity!
