$10 Basket Wall
Almost every thrift store I visit has mountains of baskets. I have been trying to figure out a craft using them for years. Sarah reminded me of when we were little how Mum and Dad had hung baskets on our kitchen walls and suggested we give it a try in the apartment:
I am so happy with the result. It makes a great statement on the large white wall in our living room. We painted a few with this metallic craft paint (I got mine at Michael’s) to add a little glamour for the season.
There are few things I love more than an inexpensive project that actually looks great! With the baskets costing $.25-$1, and the paint less than $2 we got a great project for under $10.
The best thing about this project is seriously every thrift store has a gazillion baskets to choose from. I chose round baskets, but you could do any shape or a mix. It would also be fun to paint the baskets completely with an all over color; yellow in the spring or pale pink for the nursery.
What are you switching up in your house this fall?
