As Brad puts it, we THINK we’re buying a house. It is contingent on a few factors, but everything should be final in a few weeks. I am more than excited that Brad and I found a house that we’re both happy with. We decided on a new construction in Draper, UT. Total construction time is six months, so we’ll be moving in with the lovely snow in February. At least we’ll have a few months to save and to prepare.

We are both freaking out as first time home buyers! Thanks for all your advice and help during the search and a special thanks to my parents. They make the perfect Real Estate team with my Dad, John as our Realtor patiently answering a bazillion questions and Mum, Terri who helped made sense of everything and helped envision our future home.

As our budget has been stretched, furnishing the home will be a thrifty endeavor. I’m excited to make plans and hopefully share lots of deals and inspiration for your home too. I will keep you posted…
