Country Living Awesome February Issue

Morning everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend. I was not productive AT ALL… just VERY LAZY. It was perfect, and just what I needed to nip my sickness days in the bud!

Anyhow, while I was under the weather I enjoyed reading my mags, and can I just say that County Living blows the others out of the water every month. Each page is eye candy: fresh and original, interesting and inspiring. In their February issue, I ‘pinned’ at least 3 ideas that I’m hoping to use in our basement.

Here’s a glimpse of one of my favorite features ‘A Modern Spin on Cabin Decorating’, go HERE to see the whole article.

Isn’t that cabin amazing? I want to move in. The barn doors in the bedroom are something I’m looking at for the basement. A modern version of what we usually see, but I like the light wood and texture.

Are you in love?

I am! I loved that feature too………….I’ve seen’ glass’ barn doors hanging from bright stainless steel hardware at SHEP’S salon in Provo, and thought you might like that idea for your basement, as they let the light through the frosted glass, gorgeous!

You should ask Shep if you can feature him on Boxwood, his decorating taste and ideas are impeccable! He has an amazing studio!

I’m always surprised how rich design tastes are when they are layered and eclectic rather than following a strict design movement. It makes it much more exciting and personal. This spread is lovely. :)
