A Personized Glittery Banner

Last weekend we finally got around to blessing our twin girls. After church we headed back to our place for a brunch with family and friends. The food and company were the focal points, but I wanted a little decoration with the girlies names displayed, so we came up with this cute idea…

A Personalized Glittery Banner.

 To Make You’ll Need:

Cardstock with letters printed on it (I used Bebas font 300pt)

Glue

A paint brush

Glitter

Pegs + Twine for hanging

No.1 First, spread the glue evenly and quite heavy. Make sure your edges are as neat as you can make them.

No.2 Generously smother in glitter

No.3  Shake the glitter off (on clean piece of paper to re-use), and you’re done!

Some letters took longer to glue than others, so I’d do half the letter at a time. The key is to not let the glue dry at all before the glitter!

Here’s how Hannah’s turned out at the other side of the room…

The best thing about this is that they are easy to store and I can whip out again for any occasion.

How fun that I get to have a ‘Kids Party Box’ in the house now :)
