We have had our fair share of baby showers this year, so we decided to mix it up and have afternoon tea for all of Emily’s special ladies.
We kept things really simple with a traditional English menu of tiny munchies and simple decor of white and green snowball clippings from the garden.
Our Mum, Terri is a master at the culinary arts. She made mini little sandwiches filled with all of our English tea time favorites: cucumber and cream cheese, egg salad and cress, tomato and cheese, and curried chicken. Dessert was perfection: tiny macaroons, lemon bars, English scones with jam and cream (recipe HERE), and our favorite raspberry trifle.
Sarah made this easy doily garland by simply folding doilies over a piece of twine. So effective and took literally two minutes!
It was such a lovely afternoon filled with lots of chatter and pressies for the new baby girl. Thanks everyone for the lovely memories, we can’t wait for baby Jane to get here and meet you all xxx
