How to Make Homemade Baby Food: Stage One

We knew making our own baby food would be healthier choice for the girls, but we had no idea would be so easy, fast, and how much money it would save!!!

The girls’ favorite right now is pureed butternut squash…here’s how to make it.

First prep squash: peel, de-seed, and cube.

Next, steam until tender.

Finally, blend with a little of the water left from steaming to puree.

THESE BPA-free Munchkin trays are perfect to freeze the puree.

Just pop out 1-2 cubes per serving, and you can always mix in a little rice cereal if you want it to be more filling.

We’re sure your babe will be squealing with delight, and you’ll be squealing too!
