A Little Keepsake for Big Memories

We were so excited to bring our girlies to the California Coast over Memorial Day.

2 Babies, 1 long road proved to be pretty amazing.

We loved the little stops along the way and of course the fabulous landscape!

I could have written journals about all our little adventures, but who has time for that?!

So I settled on a new tradition for my girls.

Just a postcard each from a favorite spot, and a few words about our trip and what the baby experienced.

Placed safely in their memory box once we return home.

A 5 minute project to last forever.

How fun would it be to do this for every trip and put them all in an album together?!

A lifetime collection.

WOW!

    I love this idea!
We are driving from Washington to Ventura in Aug down the Pac coast Hwy and should have many opportunities to do this!

Yep–love this. We do this on our vacations. We buy postcards when we arrive, and then at the end of each day, jot down what we did, the weather, the food, etc. We mail them by day, or before we leave. When we get home, I make a quick trip album with the postcards & other memorabilia we collected & put it all on a book-binder ring. I keep them in a bowl on the coffee table for the summer. The kids (and guests) love to flip through them.
