Grilled, Juicy Pineapple
As a side, or a simple dessert it’s hard to beat warm, juicy pineapple straight from the grill!
Some people are put off by pineapple because it’s a lot of work…here’s how we cut up ours that’s really easy and quick..
1. Cut off top and bottom of pineapple (leaves and base).
2. Stand pineapple up onto new flat base and cut skin/peel off in strips working from top to bottom.
3. Cut pineapple into long strips working around the core.
4. Cube if desired!
To grill we simple sprinkle strips with brown sugar and either lemon or lime juice and grill for 5-10 mins on the grill outside, or on broil in the oven.
The easiest way to sweeten any summer meal :)
