Tween Bedroom Design

Monday, July 27th, 2015

Our first room design for our sister’s reno is the girls’ bedroom. This is one of the only rooms in the house that doesn’t need structural changes, making it the perfect place to start!

The room is on the smaller size and doesn’t get a lot of natural light so we plan to brighten it up with white walls, light flooring, white furniture and a few pops of color. The girls, aged 8 and 11, are right at that age wanting less pinks and more blues…

Holler Dollar: Succulent Plant

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015

We are always looking to add more greenery and life to our homes.

Faux succulents look pretty close to the real thing and require ZERO maintenance.

One less thing to worry about….holler to that!

We found this little beauty at the Dollar Tree and popped it in a cement pot, so cute right?

The dollar store has a good selection of these, and we want them in every room of the house! How about you?

Garden Clippings Gift Wrap

Monday, July 20th, 2015

Is there anything more beautiful than nature?

These little gifts were adorned by just a few clippings from my yard

and couldn’t be more perfect in our opinion.

Most clippings will last several hours, so have gift ready and then snip snip right before you give to recipient.

Is there anything greenery can’t transform? It breathes life like no other! We can’t get enough!
