Personalized Christmas Wrapping

As always my siblings are getting all the same gift, so I thought it would be fun to personalize the wrapping with these german glitter alphabet ornaments from Pottery Barn (HERE).

We like that no skill or special talent is required…these pretty ornaments do all the talking and dazzle on their own to make any gift a little more exciting.

Plus it’s a little extra gift to hang on the tree next year!

Love it! Do you have a tutorial for wrapping gifts or one to can recommend?

    Aisha,

We really want to start doing little video tutorials of all our little tips. But until then, we’d say just make sure you crease the lines well on the edges of gifts. Sharp lines really help them look tidy!

The ornaments are on sale for $2.00 instead of $3.50 if that makes anyone’s head turn.
It did mine….and if you purchase today, you should receive the ornaments by Christmas Eve.
    Pottery Barn rocks!

Aisha-I have found that using thin paper works best to get very sharp and crisp lines on packages. One item I like is found at Lowe’s in the paint department….rolls of brown kraft paper sold for masking. I think the rolls come in 8″ and 12″ widths. Lots of paper on those rolls and only a few bucks.

Cellophane works well when wrapping soft items. I roll the item neatly and then wrap it like a “hot dog” with ribbon on each end and a couple inches of cellophane. You can hide the item with a solid piece of paper/wrap between the item and cellophane.

    Diedre,

We love that paper too, and the size is great to work with. We also just like the plain brown craft paper from the Dollar Tree. Also, I found these ornaments on Christmas clearance last year for just a $1, so it’s a great thing to keep in mind in January! Thanks for your great comment and input. Merry Christmas all!
