White Chocolate Easter Lollipops

Tuesday, March 15th, 2016

We made these adorable chocolate lollipops for the girls’ Easter baskets and loved how they turned out!

They remind us of our English childhood and were so incredibly fast and easy!

Here’s what we needed to make them:

Ribbon of choice

First we melted our chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until melted and smooth.

Next, we laid the lollipop sticks in the mold and poured the chocolate to fill the mold.

We let them harden and they popped out of the molds no problem.

Lastly, we covered with the lollipop bags and tied with grosgrain ribbon.

These turned out incredably cute, we’ll be making about 100 for our huge family on Easter day!

We are big fans of Lindt chocolate and love seeing their Easter collection when it hits stores every year.

THIS yummy bunny caught my eye for Jane and set the theme for her Easter basket…

Holler Dollar: Toddler Snacks

Friday, March 11th, 2016

Wow, back-to-back holler dollars!

If you frequent the dollar store you will know the food aisles are….a little sketch.

Recently however, we have found our favorite snacks for the girls at less than half the price of the grocery store which has given us a new appreciation for the dollar store.

You’ll always find these three things in our diaper bags…the prices can’t be beat!
Next time you’re in the dollar store, head down the food aisles. Look for brands you know you like, you’ll be surprised at the cost!

Holler Dollar: Easter Cards

Thursday, March 10th, 2016

Easter is a pretty big deal where we are from in England. It’s second only to Christmas, so decorations, card sending etc are always part of the fun.

I found these sweet cards at the Dollar Tree this week.

A few of the eggs are pop-outs and it’s hard to tell from the picture but that is real ribbon and a cute metallic banner…so great for a buck!

They’ll be making there way to England this week.

Do you still send cards or are you 100% email only?

I still love sending and receiving a card in the mail…one of the sweet little joys of life!

The Sweetest Easter Gifts for your little lady

Wednesday, March 9th, 2016

While browsing Hape toys the other day (they are some of our very favorites) we were inspired by their fun pop of pastel colors and decided we needed to do a gift round up just in case you guys were looking to spoil your little one this spring.

A day on the Farm book (my girlies very favorite right now, thanks to Bri!). | 5. Bunnie Pull-A-Long toy (eeekk, just too cute). | 6. Floral Arrangement Playset.

We’re dying over these beautiful colors and love that our little ones are finally saying “yay-ow” (yellow), and “ink” (pink) while at play. Too cute all around!
