We found these ‘moleskin-like’ basic little notebooks at the dollar tree and are loving them to make our daily and weekly lists.

We keep on trying to convert to our phones for lists, but there’s nothing like crossing off a physical to-do list. Please tell us we’re not the only ones that still do this?!

There is something we love about setting the table for family dinner.

We still take delight in cloth napkins and pretty glassware, and pull them out even for slightly special occasion like Sunday dinner. They make even an ordinary meal a special occasion.

We have been liking these water glasses from the Dollar Tree! They have thick glass which just makes them easier to use and keep (dishwasher friendly!).

Are you expecting a large crew for the holidays? These glasses are your answer to a pretty and practical table!

Oh how we love a good Dollar Tree find, we can’t wait to share this one with you!…

With the holiday season just around the corner, we’re already getting giddy thinking about wrapping. Do you think there’s no such thing as too many ribbon choices? Good, us too! So we added spools of this delightful lace to our collections and for only $1 for 6 yards, it’s a great find indeed!

This little gift was wrapped in basic printer paper, tied with the ribbon and adored with a sprig of greenery.

Lovely. Wouldn’t you agree?

Holler Dollar: Toddler Snacks

Friday, March 11th, 2016

Wow, back-to-back holler dollars!

If you frequent the dollar store you will know the food aisles are….a little sketch.

Recently however, we have found our favorite snacks for the girls at less than half the price of the grocery store which has given us a new appreciation for the dollar store.

Holler Dollar: Easter Cards

Thursday, March 10th, 2016

Easter is a pretty big deal where we are from in England. It’s second only to Christmas, so decorations, card sending etc are always part of the fun.

I found these sweet cards at the Dollar Tree this week.

A few of the eggs are pop-outs and it’s hard to tell from the picture but that is real ribbon and a cute metallic banner…so great for a buck!

They’ll be making there way to England this week.

Do you still send cards or are you 100% email only?

I still love sending and receiving a card in the mail…one of the sweet little joys of life!
