Congratulations to Rachel!!!! Thanks to all who entered!!!
We’re so excited to kick start our week with a great giveaway!
I started to look for a memory book almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant. My parents had one for each of us, and it’s something I always knew I wanted to do for our children.
I was so happy when I found this one by Bunnies By the Bay. First off, it’s the cutest thing ever, with adorable illustrations, but most of all I love how easy it’s been to record all the little details I don’t want to forget about my two little ladies.
Isn’t the layout just the cutest?!
If you know someone who is pregnant, or just had a wee one, I couldn’t suggest a more treasured gift!
To enter, simply leave a comment below (by June 16th, 12pm MST) and tell us what other product catches your eye over on their site (HERE)! The winner will be selected at random and notified by June 17th.
On another note, I’d just like to rave about another couple Bunnies By the Bay products!
My girlies are getting to the age where they can really begin to enjoy their toys and they are just in love with their Blossom’s Lulla Bunny Bye Binkie Blankets and Bunny Wrist Rattles (which they like on their ankles)!
They are sooo incredibly soft! The babies love them against their skin, and give us lovely giggles when they hear the rattles. Too cute.
Be sure to check out the entire Bunnies By the Bay line on their site (link HERE). You’ll be spoilt for choice!
Oh, and don’t forget to enter for the book :)
Em’s shower was planned at the very last minute, since we had a surprise visit from Hels, our other sissy. With hardly anytime, we needed the invitations to go out as fast as possible, but we still wanted something custom and (obviously) very cute!
We hit up Etsy and found the Sunday Designs Shop, which is TOTALLY ADORABLE! They offer a great collection of printable invitations. There are sooooo many cute designs, the only hard part about the process is choosing which one you like best!
We chose the Antique Pram Shower Invite, which reminded us of our British roots! Next, we just emailed our information over, and within a day or so they emailed us a pdf.
We printed them over at FedEx Office, on thick card stock and cut them to size.
For well under $20, we had our perfect, cute and custom invites ready to go. You can’t beat that!
Be sure to check out Sunday Design when you’re planning your next event!
It’s funny, but whenever I make something I’ve seen on Pinterest, it gives me a sense of productivity, like I’ve accomplished something!
I’d pinned these free printable Easter cards years ago, and this year I actually got around to printing them out and adding a ribbon. Aren’t they adorbs?!

Have you done anything lately that’s been on your list a while?!
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I saw blossoms this weekend and I couldn’t be happier spring is officially here!
Another thing to brighten my day are these lovely geometric coral note cards from the Dollar Spot at Target.
Look at those cute envelopes! I’m obsessed with peachy corals every spring time.
8 note cards and envelopes for a dollar. Holler!
We had the best time at Sarah’s baby shower. Nothing is more fun than celebrating for two baby girls, especially when we’ve been waiting for them for such a long time!
We wanted the shower to be pretty and festive, but most importantly simple and stress-free.
Our friends at Tiny Prints helped us get the party started right with these gorgeous invites:
Tiny Prints were so easy to work with! Customizing and ordering was a breeze and the invites arrived in lightning speed.
Stay tuned for party details tomorrow!
I am a hopeless romantic, so I love a cheeky Valentine’s card. It’s one of the only times of the year to formally celebrate love, so even though pretty letter-pressed and handmade cards can cost a little more and you have to pay for shipping, I say it’s well worth the little extra!
I usually am too late to order from Etsy by the time I think about Valentine’s, so I thought I’d post this extra early to let you see a few clever cards that we can all order with time to spare for v-day.
Do you have any cute ideas for Valentine’s up your sleeve? See more Valentine ideas I am loving HERE.
We are in a hurry around here to get lots of things done before Sarah’s babies get here! Sarah had the most brilliant idea for the fastest and most original Valentine’s cards.
We simply lay card stock onto scrap paper and started swirling around craft paint.
With no paint brushes required, we had a blast making a mess with pink and metallic paints.
We let them dry overnight and then folded them in half for a simple card.
We love how these turned out, all that texture and sheen!
Best of all these were so inexpensive and only took only 2 minutes!!! We think kids would absolutely love this project, easy enough for a two year old, fun enough for a 14-year old!
Usually I like to make my own cards, it’s personal and thrifty, but some birthdays just sneak up on me and it’s time to head to the store.
Trader Joe’s has a little collection of greeting cards that are all $1, and really cute. If you’re not into making yours, I highly recommend going and stocking up. That way they’ll be on hand and just waiting for a little message and a stamp.
Little things like this make me feel organized and slightly on top of things, and you’ve got to love that!!!
We were thrilled to discover Sugar Paper products this week at Target!!! We know we are late on the boat with this one, but we thought it was definitely worth the shout-out for any of you who haven’t heard yet either!
Not only do we always adore Sugar Paper’s gorgeous designs and style, but now we can L-O-V-E them with Target price tags! Holler!!!
Honestly we were spoiled for choice and can’t think of a prettier way to start the new year!
Unfortunately, products are not available online but we promise it is well worth a Target trip (make sure to check out Christmas clearance while you’re there).
Read all about Sugar Paper for Target and their full line of products HERE.
The Dollar Spot at Target is always its best around the holidays. I can’t get over these finds for only $1…holler!!!
Stickers, tags and ribbons to spruce up your gift wrap:
Chalk board pen:
We’ve been on the hunt for this bad boy since the chalk board trend began, but could only find pricey versions, we couldn’t believe this one was only $1. They are soooo much easier to write with over chalk, so go get yourself one or two!
Always remember (especially at this pricey time of year), you don’t have to spend a lot to get the cute stuff :)
It is the season of thanksgiving and Target has it in for me with its vast display of jewel-toned and gold-foiled thank you notes. How’s a girl supposed to control herself when a set of 10 only costs $3.99?
I love the idea of writing thank you notes in November, just because. A perfect time of year to express gratitude to those around you. Now I’m giving you the perfect excuse to buy these little beauties:
Gold foil many thanks 50ct/$10.99. Pretty enough to frame. Only $.22/per card.
Yellow ombre 10ct/$3.99. Don’t you think these would be perfect to bring a little sunshine to someone’s day?
Foil bunny 24ct/$6.99. Sold!
Bold purple + gold 10/$3.99
Autumn-floral multi-pack 15/$6.99. Could this be more perfect?
Time to get grateful!
Our Christmas cards from Tiny Prints arrived last week. I was giddy as soon as I saw the package on the door step!
This year my goal is to simplify simplify everything Christmas…the decorating down to the gift wrap; so it was perfect that we could just pick out a cool design plug in a photo and have Tiny Prints do the rest of the work!
Brock is only picking about a few things regarding house and home, and one of his requests is that our Christmas cards mention Christmas! When I’m shopping in the stores, a “Christmas” card is not always my first choice as far as design goes, that’s why we loved this option of customizing all aspects of our card, so we added this great quote by President Hinckley on the inside.
These cards inspired a whole black + white theme this year, so I came up with some easy diy wrapping to match. Be sure to head over to Tiny Prints blog to check out the details (HERE).
Tiny Prints offers discounts quite frequently, be sure to check out their promotions page HERE to keep you up to date with their latest offers.
TODAY ONLY 25% OFF TOTAL ORDER + FREE SHIPPING WITH CODE HOLIDAY25FS
Happy Pre Holidays!
I love this time of year when the stores are lined with school supplies, eeek time to stock up!
My list is always: paper, glue sticks, containers, pens, and sharpies
But top of that list is something I can’t live without, 1 subject notebooks, or as I like to call them my cheapo notebooks. I use them everyday, they keep me on track with all my lists and then when everything is checked off, rip…it’s in the trash, and onto the next page.
They usually priced at just $1, but tend to go on sale too. I usually pay around 10¢ – 20¢, so when they’re low I stock up.
Another good use is, I have one for each of my nephews so when they come around, they can get it out and do some drawing, I think it’s fun to have something here waiting for them.
So little and so simple :)
Paper Source is one of our favorite places. We know we’ll get the very best selection of the stationary world at paper-source.com. Here’s just a glimpse of the greatness…
Three things I love. Botanicals, notebooks, black. Sold!
These golden mini clothespins would be lovely to attach gift tags to presents with for autumn gifts.
Paper Source has a fantastic selection of twine, ribbons and decorative tape.
They also carry my absolute favorite twill ribbon.
Loving these ‘happy birthday’ stickers. One onto a small white card would make one simple birthday card!
Do you love Paper Source as much as we do?
Watercolor is all the range around the bloggy world these days, and why not? It’s flippin’ amazing!
This watercolor card is a so simple and can be used for any occasion, and the best part is you can make it while you’re having art time with the kids. Just pull out those Crayola paints and save yourself a pretty penny on your upcoming events.
What You’ll Need:
Water color paper (I use this one)
Cup of Water
Thin Black Pen (in love with this!)
Stack of Magazines or a heavy item.
1. Fold your paper in half
2. Lightly wet your paintbrush and get a good amount of paint on it
3. Glide your paint in a line across the top of the card
4. Next, lightly dip the brush in water and make another line touching your first.
5. Repeat again!
6. Do the same but starting at the bottom of card. I like to use another color too.
7. Wait a few moments until it’s dried off then set it under a heavy stack of books or magazines. Place some white paper on top of it to protect it.
8. I like to leave mine a couple of hours or overnight, then when it is completely dried and pressed write a saying in your own penmanship.
I hope you find this little tutorial helpful, and your inspired to create your won little works of art. :)
It was about this time last year when we posted about Martha’s new line at Staples (see HERE). Since then we’ve been recommending them to everyone. They are just too cute, and finish any organization project off nicely.
Anyhow, many of her stickers are now on sale. I got all the packets below for only 50¢ each.
So far, I’ve been to Folsom CA and Sandy UT stores and found the deals. Be sure to check out your nearest location, and let us know what you find!
My organization project was really just for the house, but I’ve really caught the bug and nowhere is off limits. :)
Being part of a big family, we have LOTS of birthdays and they are so hard to keep track of. I use THIS system Em blogged about a few years back. But also found having a list somewhere I see daily helps me pop them in the post on time.
Over at The Project Girl, she has a great free printable (see HERE).
I also emailed my family a copy…now there’s no excuse!
Threshold ombre throw pillow $14.99
Red stipe pillow $19.99
Red ikat pouf $39.99
Huffy men’s cruiser $119.99
A favorite red notebook $2.99
Today we are hitting up Target with our sister, Helen who flew in town for a long weekend. You can always rely on Target to hit the bulls-eye with Target-red Valentine’s loot! What are you loving at Target right now?
